I LOVE MY STUDENTS!!!!

I can not believe we are approaching the end of the year. It has flew by and I am going to miss each one of these precious students. They have made this year so memorable and fun.  

DDDN Postponed

Daddy Daughter Date Night has been postponed due to weather. We will anounce the date when it's rescheduled.

First Grade Farm Day

Our class had a lot of fun at farm day. The students loved seeing all the different animals. Our Favorite animal was the pig.

Next Week Is Johnny Appleseed Week

On Friday September 26, we will be having a special snack in honor of Johnny Appleseed's birthday. If you will be willing to send something for our little snack to be possible here are the following items we will need:

green apples
red apples
yellow apples
apple juice
caramel dip
plastic cups
plastic plates
apple cider
applesauce
box of apple cereal(apple jacks, apple cheerios, etc.)

LEARNING IS FUN!!

The students were working on a M&M Math lesson. The students loved being able to eat the M&M's after the lesson.

The students were making a rainbow. 
They used Dawn soap, red, blue, green, and, yellow food coloring, and milk.
It was a FUN science experiment!!

We have had an awesome first week at APS. I am so glad I have your child in my class this year. We are going to have a GREAT year!! The first day of first grade we danced to "Happy". I have the children on video and I will try to upload it on the blog for you to see.
